Did anyone send a resume in after you submitted your app and resume? I’m talking about 2 resumes and the second one is just a follow up of what you’ve done since you sent your last one lol. Would this make them mad?

If it's a really really significant change, then it's okay, but it will still probably annoy them. I sent in a resume and then updated them with a research abstract.

I think it is too late to send one now.

i never even sent a first resume, they just want to get a sense they dont need to read novels about you yaaawwwn

well i just sent in 2 pages...

I initially sent in a resume with my application. I felt a lot of information about me that was not conveyed through my application had to be put on a resume. It was 2 and a half pages, I just hope I wasn't too long.

only send it if its a major major accomplishment. otherwise, there's no point in sending it because it probably won't help. however, i think for ED its a bit too late...

Im with adidas, I never sent a resume in the first place. I think they realize that you're involved with a lot of activities which is why they only ask you to list your 6 most important ones on the app. I didn't have more than 6 anyways.

Yeah, I didn't attach a resume either.
Honestly, the 6 things I listed are the things that I'm really involved in. After that, they're just not as significant.

i used the resume to explain what i did and my awards/achievements. is that bad? it wasnt a laundry list at all with 309830 billion activities.

I sent in a resume too, but it didn't include everything, just major activies. Like..the regular app didn't give space for summer programs. I think it's sort of silly to send a follow-up resume in for ED since there's only a month and a half between the submission and decision anyway.

Upon rereading the Penn application, I thought it would have been smart to add a resume/activity sheet explaining each club and my role in each. But it seems too late now...

-The Late Coot66

usually nething u submit to a college should never exceed one page... so im not sure about that 2.5 page resume

i was actually told that it is far better to make it one page cuz its unrealistic/questionable for a 17yr old to have more than a one page resume... just dont put in BS stuff like NHS, whos who etc and

I won an award today and I called and asked if it was too late to let them know, and the girl said no definetely not and she told me to fax it or e-mail it.

so I emailed my regional rep...it was only a 3 sentence paragraph....I DID send in a resume with my app though.

Well it is good that you sent it but I think that it is too late to turn stuff in since the regional rep has already initially reviewed your app.

Your rep will probably not have time to even check his/her mail until after decisions are out. so dont expect a response unless you get lucky :)

I sent in an activity sheet but thats because my activities are very unconventional (non school related: research, business, internships). I actually asked my regional rep about this and said that it would be best if I did. However, I wouldn't bother if the ECs are typical (athletic teams, student gov, your school clubs).
