Stuff I like to do for fun with people is like play card games (not gambling games like poker or texas hold em etc) such as ERS (Egyptian Rat Screw), BS, Kimps, Mafia...

Also board games are cool, as is Ping pong.

I like Ping Pong, several board games (Stratego, Risk), BS, and Mafia, just from the list.

But I'm primarily a video gamer.

i love BS!!! lol

board games are alright...they just havent come up in awhile

oh i love anything that tennis related including ping pong!!!

OMG, ahh!! except for ping pong (my reflexes are...non-exsitent), I'm the same. i love ERS, mafia, uhmm, chinese poker (also called big 2), there's like a million I know. I hate BS though, because I can't lie. So I just BS the person in front of me whenever I have to lie.

I play bridge...I have yet to meet anyone else here who does.

OH OH! I know the like..world champion in table tennis! and her kids, my age, are soooooooo good. her daughter gave this man a like 5 point lead, and beat him (playing to 10). I was just liek dayummnnnnn.

cool! ... but if your reflexes are non-existant, how good are you at ERS, hehe. I was playing mafia with some people tonight but they weren't being very hardcore about it. They just voted to hang people for no reason and kept talking when they were supposed to be asleep and told everyone they wanted redeals since they were townspeople.
grr! lol

On another note, concerning video games, does anyone play Warcraft III? If you do, do you have a battle.net name/account? Maybe we can play sometime. Also I like Super Smash Bros Melee. I may broaden my video gameing repertoire in college to include more games... considering for my entire high school life the only computer game (pretty much) that I have played is Warcraft III... Probably I'll at least give some FPS games like CS a try.

Another thing I forgot to mention in my original post is does anyone play Magic the Gathering (yes I know it's dorky!)?

ThinkDifferent, I kinda play bridge. My dad taught me how, but I only play like three times a year, so I keep forgetting stuff.

lol i played ERS everyday in my calc class after the AP last year, although we called it the slapping game

other than that I hardly play cards : (

Well, when it comes to sport-like games, I'm horrible. Cards I can somewhat manage. I'm not good, but I'm....ehh, mediocre? Hahaa. I dunno. I love video games, but I'm really bad at them too.

NotAPrettyGirl, what is this world champion's name?

As far as card games go I love ERS, texas-holdem... actually about every card game. I also play magic.

I did play Warcraft III. Now I play World of Warcraft, battlefield 2, age of empires II and III, Oblivion (best game right now), CS, and Halo 2. I love video games lol

Most of all, i love chess
Who else plays chess? and what's you're rating? I hold a steady 2000 on yahoo, and I just started playing USCF, still provisional, but im at 1750. I want to get really serious about it in college. Does CMU have a strong chess team

she's some asian woman, i don't remember her name.
met her at some asian gathering/new year's party.
her son plays tt in college.. haha, he's pretty cute too...
daughter's damnnn good. she's pretty sweet too.

they just have the perfect family.

I'm not aware of a chess team at CMU - which is kind of weird, I know. I'm not even aware of a casual chess club-type thing.

ERS sounds like slap jack or snaps, is it the same thing?

hmm i found this little thing, but the ratings are down and the last update i saw was in 2004 lol.

o well im sure theres plenty of tournaments in pittsburgh

My son would say Chess, Chess and Chess are his favorite board games. If there is not a club now, he will start one. By the way the Internet Chess Club (ICC) headquarters is right around there on Forbes Ave.
