I'm reading the book but not able to process 2/3 of it...

I’m halfway through the book. I read a lot of tech blogs, magazines, and stuff like that so I understand most of it, but some of it is a bit over my head.

Same here. I don’t quite understand certain part of the book

I thought I was pretty tech savvy before I read the book! Yeah, I’m not so confident about that anymore!

I…I need to get working on that.

For the first part, are we just going to list the postive and negative consequences and bring it to class?

I’m only on like page 60. I’m planning on writing the essay without reading the whole thing, as the prompts are pretty free-form.

Not exactly sure what they want us to write about, as there is no central assignment given to us besides “use these prompts to help you write about your thoughts.”

***.

I feel like I’m gonna be wayy off in my essay :/

I’m starting to give up reading the whole book now… Anyone know if we really have to finish this book to write a good essay?

Maybe not. But I’d atleast skim through the book just in case there was a part I do understand and then be able to incorporate that in the essay. Idk…

for the first part of assignment, did you actually make a list?

I didn’t yet. I just wrote everything that I did. But I need to do that soon too! sigh

so we are just suppose to list all the postive and negative things?

It said to note it’s consequences but it said to “keep a detailed record of your experiences and bring it to the first core class.” so I would at least thing about the pos and neg, maybe jot some few down. I don’t think it’d have to be a detailed list or anything. But this is all my assumption so don’t blame me if I was wrong! :)

My high school procrastination habits are killing me already. >.<

What kind of “lists” or experiences have you guys made?

And was it okay if I bought the e-book instead of the physical copy for reading? Will we absolutely NEED to take it to class?
