What do you mean it looks like is the deadline over?

Mexbruin, you mean the may 1st deadline that i mentioned? I can't remember the page that I got it from, but there is something on UCOP that says something like the UCs have to give out their decisions by April 30th or May 1st. I forget which.

I went to the UCLA website about five, ten minutes ago... I was admitted! :) Yay!

Welcome to fam. bichemist you gonna attend ucla though? you should really consider attending.

did you guys receive your epal yet? I got accepted last friday but still no epal. I'm sending in my SIR today anyways because I don't want to wait anymore. Was wondering if it's just me or all other transfers

yes, received the ePal on April 27th.

mexbruin, i would... except (1) berkeley is my first choice because it's closer to my house and (2) i've turned in my SIR already. i would love to visit the campus, though. i'm just... overwhelmed and very much honored that UCLA admitted me. that was a very pleasant.. shock actually. :)

Biochemist.....very nice. I chose UCLA for the same reasons, very close to home, etc. It'll make like much easier in that respect, but still you can always say you were accepted at "both". :)

Keep us in mind for Grad School. lol

BruinMichelle... yes, definitely! One of my instructors who went to UCSB for her undergrad went to grad school at UCLA, and she absolutely loved it there. But what I'd really like to do for grad/med school is to go to the East Coast. Columbia supposedly has a top-notch MD/PhD program. :) Here's hoping I can maintain a decent GPA at Cal :P

Definitely.....Cal sounds brutal. But I'm sure you'll be just fine.....;)
