<p>UCSD does not look at the essays. There was a link provided someplace else on this forum. The only schools that look at essays are UC Irvine, UCLA, UC Berkeley, and UC Merced. The link on the thread was to a pdf file on the uc home page.</p>

<p>I can only access the new parent site, and it directs me to the page for Muir (also my first choice...hmm), but says "No data for this page." I'm assuming it doesn't mean anything...who knows.</p>

<p>I have no idea how they're doing the admissions process. I would say the order they were received, but that doesn't work because I submitted my application on the deadline. Then I would say by TAG, but I didn't submit a TAG. Then I would say GPA, but some people have higher GPAs than me and yeah....and they can't see your ethnicity or anything...so I don't know!!! This is confusing. @__@;; </p>
