<p>gosh- i applied to FIT back in Jan 2007, but finished submitting all required documents in april. i called them today, but they told me im on the waiting list, and there are apparently 200 ppl on the list. i have no idea what the chance of me getting into the school is at this point.
im totally worried.
does anyone have any idea how long i should be waiting and whether or not i will eventually get in?

<p>I find out on April 16th whether or not i have been accepted. REMEMBER! The deadline for priority applications is jan 1, they have a lot of applicants to deal with so you dont find out until april/march.</p>
<p>OH! their acceptance rate for FMM and FD are low, aka i am scared ****less! haha
these are two of their most competitive majors- very cut throat</p>
<p>I submitted all my stuff in Dec and went to the Portfolio review. I just learned they put me on the wait list. Any one have experience with this? I'm bummed as I expect I'll need to go to my back up school. I did get accepted at Drexel and Moore College of Art & Design.</p>
