<p>ugh, i don't even want to try to think if what the pattern is. my brain is just numb-like. </p>
<p>I have two ideas, though. 1) We are uber-admits and they have a special email for us in which there are dancing Stanford trees delivering a personal video acceptance from the dean, which, y'know, obviously takes longer to create and send. or 2) We are uber-rejects and will get an email with the downfall of our app (be it a test score, or grammatical error in an essay, etc.) circled in red pen with "LOL" scrawled next to it. </p>
<p>Hopefully it isn't the latter.</p>

<p>it might be our email service providers...I use yahoo, and when my friends send me attachments and stuff, I usually don't get it until like 30 min later, but if they send it to me on hotmail, it takes like a minute or two.</p>

<p>gmail. i was deferred in december and didn't get my email until 8:48 (central)...so i expect to be waiting for another hour again...</p>
