I still have couple short answers to go...
Am I the only one writing stuff, or did everyone already turn their apps in November...</p>

<p>I think I have 3 short answer essays to do before the 1st, One short answer before the 10th and like 5 due on the 15th.</p>
<p>I did this all last year, but basically I spent every minute of winter break working on apps. I was rejected ED from Columbia and (stupidly) hadn't done ANY other essays for any other school. PLUS, I couldn't reuse my Columbia essay at all because it was VERY Columbia-specific. So I wrote 10 essays in 10 days. So glad I'm not doing that this year...</p>
<p>don't worry, i still have quite a few short answers to tackle and another complete essay for Vassar and Harvard. oh mannn so much fun this will be for us!</p>

<p>Gah!! I have 10ish essays left...maybe more, since Brown has several additional essays for chem majors (argh). I hope I'm not totally screwed...</p>

<p>Two or three one-pagers need some modifications, still need to do some heavy editing to Chicago's short answers (2 answers x 1-3 paragraphs), need to write two or three paragraphs for Duke. More worried about mailings than essays at this point, I need to have some stuff postmarked by/on the first.</p>

<p>oh thank goodness!! i thought I was the only one still trying to cram essays in here.... I did most of my short answers.... I left the main essays for the end because I have noooo idea about what ot write... or how to write it.... I get writer's block very easily...ahah</p>

And people here arent slackers b/c they are applying to Ivies and selective colleges.
It's funny how in my school, people applying to average schools are done while the elite ones are still writing.</p>
<p>Somehow I'm comforted by the knowledge that others are suffering with me. I spent all Christmas day doing applications. Jolly good time, that was.</p>
