Anyone stressed about loans?

I have to take out about 15 grand a year in addition to paying 20 some ourselves. I have no idea how I'm going to pay for grad school after this >.<

Did I make a mistake in choosing this school??

Feeling pretty down....T.T

collegeappwoes, if you are still very nervous about finances, you really should contact the financial aid office at WashU and see if there is anything more they can do for you. There are lots of stories of people who have had success with this. By the way, once you get through the financial issue, you are going to LOVE WashU. It's a wonderful school with a great combination of fabulous academics with great campus life and environment.

Would it be too late right now to ask them about this? And plus we already communicated back and forth and they already gave me some money after I told them that NU is giving me more and they went back and found a "mistake" in my file....

I get no money and I even petitioned them.
You're far more fortunate than me.

UMIami was giving me a half scholarship (2/4 years).
But WashU still won't give me any money b/c of parents' income. I have no college education fund and parents will not pay for me and will probably make me take a loan.

Is the $15K part of the package the aid office recommended, or is that borrowing just to p[ay the part they say you should be able to afford?
