Anyone think I should have my test rescored under these circumstances?

On my score report it says I omitted 3 questions for one of the sections but one of my fundemental rules in test taking is to NEVER omit a question...I'm 100% sure I didn't omit any but I did do a lot of erasure since I change my mind a lot. If the reason is because the machine isn't picking up my half dark marks, should I spend the 25 bucks to get it hand scored in the collegeconfidential community's opinion?

If you've never omitted questions and the score report says you did, definitely spend $25 to get it re-scored.

This same thing happened to me! On math I got a score a good 100 points lower than what I felt it should have been, and then when I looked at the report it said that I had omitted 11 questions! There's no way I omitted 11 questions on math, maybe 1 or 2 at the most.

There's also another kid in my grade who had his report say that he omitted 15 or so questions on the reading when he didnt either.

Has anyone else discovered this or know anyone who has this???

Yeah but if they rescore and all those omitted questions turn out to be incorrect answers then your score could go even lower. If you are happy with your current score then don't get it rescored.

^No, it won't. The College Board doesn't punish students for matters outside of their control. Your score will only go up.

if I order the score report now can I see it online right now. or do they mail them?

The score report is free - it's online right now. Log onto Collegeboard.com to see it.

Yep. The number of questions you got wrong and omitted will be shown in the score report. The only thing not available is a copy of the actual essay you wrote.

If it were me, I'd shell out the extra $25. As posted above, it can't hurt you. If you're 100% certain you didn't omit any, I'd definitely have it rescored. Hope your score improves!

It is actually 50 dollars for a regrade.

Anyone know where to find a registration number from a past SAT?
I need the number in order to get my test rescored, but I no longer have my admission ticket from that test.

Do you still have the admission ticket e-mailed to you from CollegeBoard? Use that.

Thanks, but unfortunately, no dice. I have the email telling me that I registered, but the registration number is nowhere on it, it just says to sign in for the complete information.

Collegeboard really makes this difficult =/

EDIT: Nevermind, I just found another one emailed to me the day before the April SAT, one that includes the number.
Thanks =)

Yeah, there are always two e-mails: one to tell you that you registered, and one that gives you all of your personal information on it. :)
