It may be a bit early to consider or even discuss, but is anyone thinking about recourse if rejected from Berkeley? Anyone have experience with or explicit knowledge of how the appeal process works? I don’t mean to inspire pessimism, but I am curious as to the method and feasibility of appeal. Thanks.

yeah i was thinking of that too coz berkeley did not receive my TOEFL scores (i scored 297) :( So i'm really really worried. I don't know how many people get in via appeals every year though. Can someone help?

you have to write a letter to the admissions director, and i think you include 2 letters of rec

a friend from my school got into ucla, rejected from berkeley, and her appeal didnt go through

Appeals rarely work. Especially at the top UC's.

I am thinking about writing one.
