Has anyone moved from one school to another? I have one night to decide once and for all whether I want to move and I have no idea. I like Wake's size and have a good friend from HS there. The administration is very friendly and I enjoyed my day with them.

At UNC, I do not like the size of the campus, but I have a couple of good friends I have made. Next year, I'd have to move off campus and take the bus which isn't something I want to do.

My question is that many of the students at Wake I talked with today warned me of the increased workload and grade deflation that is around. I wanted to major in business, but was advised to stay away from Calloway unless I was a genius because my GPA would be too low coming out of there to make it to any law schools. I was also told that many of the students worked their butts off and received C's in many classes. Even the registrar's son told me he loves Wake, but he felt like he would've been better off at UNC because of all the busy work his professors put on him.

I don't like the fact that many of the classes at UNC are taught by TAs, but the more I hear about Wake and their work and grading policy, the more I am coming to realize that I might be better of at UNC. It probably has more prestige, and I'd save money even as an OOS. I would also be required to take a lab science at Wake, which I placed out of at UNC thanks to AP credits. Apparently a 5 on AP Bio isn't good enough to get out of Bio 101/Chem/Physics at Wake Forest.

Has anyone transfered from UNC to Wake? I only find people that have gone from Wake to UNC. If so, can anyone offer some perspective on the grading/workload versus the other school? Was it noticeable? Was the grade deflation bad in comparison to Chapel Hill?

I much prefer Wake's campus and feel, but UNC seems like the better bet.
