Anyone transferring to Maryland in Fall 2009?

I'm looking to get in touch with anyone transferring to Maryland for the fall 2009 semester. I myself transferred to UMD last year and know how tough the process was -- so if anyone is doing so, please don't hesitate to reply.

I’m transferring for Fall 2010. I would like to know what’s the average gpa to get in?

Hey I got accepted to Maryland for fall 2009 (didnt go though cause of money) but I had a 3.1 GPA and I only had 1 year of college (30+ units)

Thanks for replying, were you out of state or in-state? Yeah, it’s very expensive, but I really want to go there.

I was out of state, California.
and yeah I only received loans so I decided just to stay at my City College

Hey, I’m out of state and just applied over the weekend. It’s my second choice after UNC. I may have shot myself in the foot though by accidently putting “a move to North Carolina” in my application. Lol, it’s pretty clear where my head was at when I wrote that. I think Marylands campus is great and it’s so close to D.C. I had no idea. I have about a 3.9 GPA with 52 credits (61 when I transfer). How long do you think it will be before receiving notification?

I’m pretty sure you’re in too based on your gpa because I have a 3.78 (28+ credits). I’m not sure when the notification will come because the early admission was Nov. 1st and I read somewhere that their notication will be coming late January sometime. March 1st are when the rest of the transfer applications are due.
