Hi, my ACT score is currently on the low side for what I’m aiming for. This was my first ACT and I didn’t study atall for it, I have:
C: 29
M: 27
E: 30
R: 31
S: 26
im aiming for atleast a 32 composite but a 33-34 would be better. Have any of you used Prepscholar, and if you have how much did you increase your score by? Is it worth the $400? They guarantee a 4 point improvement which would be amazing for me because that would mean I’d have a 33. I plan on using the red book and CrackAct to study for Septembers test, but I’m also considering Prepscholar if it really helps. Thanks!
I’m interested in this too, but just a heads up, it’s 600$!
My advice? If you are motivated and diligent and make a schedule… You don’t need PrepScholar. My daughter raised her ACT from a 30C to a 34. She made out a schedule and did a practice section a few times a week with careful attention to what she got wrong.
She also said the ACT online prep (purchased from the ACT company) was very very helpful. We also figured out how to print more practice tests from the crack site.
Good luck… Motivation, practice and diligence go a long way!
@malcolmasher no it’s $400 not $600 but @carachel2 's advice is much cheaper!
Alright thanks for the advice guys! I think I’ll just stick to using the 5 practice tests from the red book and as much practice tests I can from the CrackAct website. The study schedule sounds like a great idea so I’ll start making one soon. If I don’t see my practice test scores increasing, then I’ll consider the act online prep.
@3scoutsmom I just looked and it says it’s $600, am I on the wrong website? I’m really confused now haha
