Anyone using T-Mobile?

I currently have Verizon and it's not so bad. I get like 2~3 bars of LTE on campus (I live in Wildwood).

I sort of don't want to be with Verizon anymore(as well as having a 2 year contract) and I like T-Mobile's plans.

I've looked at T-Mobile coverage map on the website and it says very strong signal for the city area but I'm not so sure how accurate that is compared to real life.

So, I'm wondering if anyone using T-Mobile can tell me their experience?

I don’t have T-Mobile, but I’ve had several friends with their service. The big issue has been building penetration; if you are in the middle of a building and not near a window, your call quality can drop pretty badly. This has been an issue the entire time I’ve been at FSU, though it has gotten better in the last couple years as T-Mobile has really started improving their coverage in Tallahassee. They still aren’t to the quality of AT&T or Verizon, but they’re getting better.

Personally, I’ve used Verizon, Sprint, and now AT&T on campus. If you want almost impeccable coverage, Verizon and AT&T are your best options. Sprint is just a disaster, and they aren’t improving at all.

If you don’t like their contract plans, have you looked into possibly one of their Prepaid plans? Or possibly into a company like Page Plus Cellular, which resells Verizon service? They’re owned by Tracfone, the same company that owns Straight Talk. The only limit with Page Plus is that if you have an LTE-enabled phone, you will be limited to a speed of around 5Mbps, which you don’t have on Verizon.
