It!s to John Hopkins and if you can't, do you have any advice on how to get in RD decision after being deferred? Thanks y'all.

JHU’s [Common Data Set for 2010-2011](<a href=“Registrar - Homewood Schools (KSAS & WSE) | Office of the Registrar | Johns Hopkins University”>Registrar - Homewood Schools (KSAS & WSE) | Office of the Registrar | Johns Hopkins University), section C7, indicates that “level of applicant’s interest” is “not considered” for freshman admissions. Unless they have changed their policy for this year, sending a letter to demonstrate interest may not have any effect.

It does say that “character / personal qualities” is “very important”, so perhaps if you can figure out what qualities they are looking for and how to convey it, that may help.

On one of their blogs, they encouraged sending in a letter. It won’t hurt I guess. I’m sending one in to show not only my continued interest, but my personality and my additional extracirriculars since my deferral.

I recently sent mine in to Pomona (my ED school), so I can read over yours if you would like :)

sure! pm it to me?:)

I’ll take a look!

Thanks guys! I can send it now.
