If you wanna read, PM me and ill send it. Im just a junior, please feel free to PM me back with suggestions/criticisms

yes, pm me!

pm me to if you like:)

Sure, go ahead.

And if you read that warning thing about low post counters, I’m not American so there’s no need to worry about plagiarising - we don’t have to write essays for University. Actually it seems a whole lot easier and less stressful here.

Thanks guys ive PMed all of you

I noted a grammatical error in the first line - “The first words that reached my ears every day at school my junior year” doesn’t make sense. Try there are/were.

As for the actual content side, I don’t exactly know what colleges look for in successful essays so I can’t really comment.

It was a colon type thing. It was like this, “words: the first words i heard”. I just forgot to put the colon in there

I’d like to read it. Pm please

Sorry for being a little late to get back to you! I definitely think your essay stands out and conveys your genuine passion for mathematics. Show, don’t tell - check.

“constant itch” is a little awkward. Maybe “constant hunger,” “constant appetite?”
“Im” > “I’m”
repetition of “sorry man” - a tad informal

I do like the introspection. Maybe, however, just to sell yourself a little more, mention some of your accomplishments in math. I’m not saying to list out your grades/resume but maybe mention a few to the extra things you do such as Math Team/AMC/USAMO that demonstrate experience, as opposed to “Math had never really challenged me. I’d never had any trouble [with math]”

Good luck man!

Sure! PM me if you want to:)

pm me too. I would like to read the essay

Sure. Why is your math-related essay risky?

pm me! 10char

me as well please

Ill read it

feel free to PM it to me.
I’m already in college, so obviously I would not be looking to steal your essay haha :)

You can PM me too. I’m pretty good at math, and I’d like to read it.
