do u think its a good idea to submit my resume under the additional information on the commonapp? I would be uploading the doc… or should I mail it?

jasonInNy is VERY wrong about GW, that’s a match for sure high match AT MOST, UPenn and NYU are both pretty high reaches (Penn more so than NYU), Tufts and Lehigh will be low reaches, the rest are matches or high matches…Your GPA is pretty solid, test scores are decent but strong EC’s, essays, and recs should cover that…still NYU and Penn will be tough but definitely apply

Wesleyan and Vassar are also reaches (moreso than NYU) because of your scores, which are low for them. They are more selective than GW and NYU. Your ECs will help, though.

I’d say UPenn, Wes, Vassar, Tufts are reaches. NYU maybe a lower reach, maybe a high match. The rest range between match and safety. Good list, and I wouldn’t be surprised if you get into at least a few of your reaches, especially if you have good essays and recs.

thanks for the chance!!! you have a great GPA and ec’s. I think NYU is a low match, same for GW. BU is a match for sure. Tufts, Wesleyan, and Colgate are more difficult to get into than NYU so they might be low reaches as well as Vassar. I’m not too sure about the rest of the schools on your list. Good luck and best wishes! :)

Tufts - reach
GW - match
Binghamton - match
Stonybrook - in
Lehigh - reach
Wesleyan - match
NYU - match
UPenn - reach
Colgate - match
Vassar - match
St. John’s - in
Univeristy of Rochester - match
BU - in

good ECs but stats can pull you down
Tufts- match
GW-reach
Binghamton, Stonybrook, Lehigh, Wesleyan, NYU, Colgate, Vassar, St. John’s (depends on whether you’re applying for pharmacy or not), Univeristy of Rochester, = all matches
upenn=reach

by the way in my chance thread you mentioned about how you didn’t make it ED to Cornell. Which colleges did you apply within Cornell. thanks again for the input!

Your have good ECs, and APs. That balances out the SAT/ACT info. I would sumbit all of your scores and let the schools decide which ones are better. I would upload your resume at the end of the CommonApp if you feel that their form does not suffice.

Wesleyan, Vassar, Tufts all, unless something has changed last year, have higher midrange scores than GW. I’d say nk9230 has it about right (agree about the scores, too).
