Your GPA is too low.
What is your rank?
If top 10% so maybe, if lower I don’t think so.

SAT is OK.

Try UCR, UCM and UCSC.

our schools don’t rank unfortunately .

Your GPA is too low, sorry.

But your stats look pretty good and there are plenty of schools that you’ll be happy with. Don’t rule out OOS and privates. Also, if your grades reflect an upward trend that will offset the lower GPA. Check out the Western Undergraduate Exchange Program, where you pay in-state tuition for participating state universities in Arizona, Washington, Neveda, If your stuck on UC’s then UCR, UCR, UCSB.

As the others have said, your GPA is just too low for UCD. You will have a shot, but not a great one. These would be better options: UCSC, UCR, UCM

so would UCD be a low reach or high reach for me?

I think this is a better statistical representation than all that " high reach" stuff…

21.8 percent admission rate in that GPA range, about 58 percent admission rate in that SAT range, with the trend being GPA is weighted heavier than SAT. Given other factors (especially first gen.), YMMV.

ok. i see my SAT scores are around average. but my GPA is lacking…

I got in with a 3.4

@thekakaru

i saw your chance thread

yes, but your extensive ecs and good sats compensated for your gpa

^^^thekakaru, you were very, very lucky. very puzzling.
