Anyone want to help a girl out?

I just applied to W&M ED, and I'm super nervous.

I'm an Asian (Filipino) female from Long Island NY. I have a 3.5ish unweighted GPA/ 3.8-3.9 weighted GPA and a 1700 SAT (not that wonderful :/)

My senior schedule:
APs: Calculus AB, Biology, Macroeconomics, English Language, Studio Art
Electives: Health, Drawing&Painting II
Independent studies (couldn't fit into my schedule): Orchestra

For the common app essay I wrote about teaching a two month old baby how to swim underwater (I thought it was decent :$)

As for EC's I have a bunch, predominately art, swimming, and orchestra related (vice president of art honor society, varsity girl's swim team all four years, first violin since 4th grade). I submitted an art portfolio and instead of an optional essay I mailed in a self portrait/abstract piece describing myself (tried to think outside the box! lol)

So, any comments? All are welcome and thank you so much :)

Good luck everyone!

In my view, your grades (assume not top 10%) and SATs would ordinarily put you in the high reach category for OOS at W&M (less than 10%), BUT the art supplement is a total wild card (very smart to submit it, my son is doing the same thing) and if it touches an AO’s heart probably might put you in the ball game.

muckdogs07, thank you so much for your input! I’m kind of close! Top 15% actually, if that helps at all!

Don’t fret too much  you have a chance! Your GPA is good. Standardized tests aren’t the end all be all. At this point, all we have to do is wait. Which is scary!!

Why would you want to attend OOS in VA? OOS tuition will run approx $45 - 50K/yr with little chance for appreciable FA. Better to consider VA Private school such as Roanoke College or W&L since private schools are more generous with FA and both in the same range with base cost.
