Ok so it's not an essay for them, but these titles seem to gather the most no. of people. So my question is: should you write an essay in the part of the common app that says "is there anything else you would like to tell the admissions officers?" is it like one of those optional essays that if you don't write anything, you get screwed over in the process?

None of the optional essays screws one over should one choose not to write. They are just that – optional.

If you have nothing else important to tell the admissions officers, do not waste their time writing garbage.

are you sure about that? i mean do they expect to see something?

can someone please answer my question!?!?!??!?!?!

I don’t htink it counts against you
but its for people who don’t think they’ve expressed themselves well enough in their earlier essay.
But if you think you did a good job already, then don’t overdo it. b/c you don’t want to bore the admissions people.

I will just quote myself from another post.
