Anyone weightlift?

<p>I assume people who do already have their own schedule and work out, so I'm looking for someone who follows a similar work out or someone new who's willing to learn so we can be gym partners for motivation, spotting, and helping each other on form.</p>

<p>With that said, anybody interested in weight lifting, Monday, Wednesday, Friday afternoons?</p>

<p>Swap workouts each day, so ABABABABABA etc. </p>

<p>Workout A
3x5 Squat
3x5 Bench Press
1x5 Deadlift
2x5-8 dips </p>

<p>Workout B
3x5 Squat
3x5 Standing military press
3x5 Pendlay Rows
2x5-8 chinups </p>

<p>Fridays
Parallel Bar dips or incline skullcrushers - 2 x 8-12
barbell/DB/EZ-Bar curls - 2 x 8-12</p>

<p>Daily accessory work:
-45 degree Decline bench weighted situps, 3x5 (hold body parallel to ground for static 5 seconds each repetition on the way down, then go down slowly and come back up)
-Hyperextensions - 3x8

<p>i wouldn’t recommend squats for 2 beginners, imho. form is very important for squats and you can def end up hurting your back if you do it wrong repeatedly.</p>

<p>The squat is a great compound lift and of course you would want to practice your form before going heavy. I’m surprised you would mention squats over deadlifts, since deadlift has a greater potential for back injury if done wrong. I see more people doing squats over deadlift all the time in the gym anyhow.</p>
