Walt99-- agree with you 150%!

I know this is truly unfair because a) People have received their mail score reports and b) International Students have received scores already.
Please explain what is unfair about that.
Well gee Mrs. Ferguson, how about precedent?
Which precedent? I'm pretty sure close to 90% of scores were available during the initial three days of viewing, like always.
How about being promised by the ACT itself that the scores would be received in time for a December 1st deadline (I asked two individuals about SPECIFIC colleges and they assured me that they would be received by this time).
I'm sure those colleges have received scores. Were you promised they would receive your scores by December 1? Even though it says everywhere that scores take four to eight weeks? If so, that sucks, and I sympathize, but...it does say everywhere that scores take four to eight weeks.
A two-day work week?
Where are you getting that? Do you think ACT's employees come in twice a week at midnight to manually resolve thousands of mismatched answer documents and type the scores in before morning? No, you can bet they have a small army of staff working full-time doing the manual work--the twice-weekly updates are just a computer job that runs overnight to load the records that have been manually resolved since the last time it ran. That's why the site goes down. Sheesh.

I really do sympathize with those who haven't gotten their scores yet. I know how frustrating it can be. And I know complaining can make you feel better. But some of this is getting a little ridiculous, especially when there's little ground for even calling your scores late or delayed.

^I'm sorry, but if you truly had empathy for our situation, you would understand that it is pure anxiety and stress and not even bring this up. Look at all the angry responses you've solicited so far...

And I wouldn't be too sure that 90% of test takers have received their score. I also remember reading that when someone first called them, the representative told them that "...about 20% of test takers have recieved their scores, and we are therefore good to do..." or something along those lines.

Although they DO SPECIFY 3-7 weeks, it's still incredibly stressful and frustrating. I also HIGHLY DOUBT, that so many people made errors to their scantron. We're not all completely inept at filling in bubbles. Laslt, being told different things different times makes me feel as if they are completely inefficient.

So basically, like Tyler09 said, yeah we're spoiled brats who like having our scores st the time as we expect them to come out.

fdsgah :/

Yes, I also have heard that only about 20% of test takers have received scores...We are all super p1ssed off at the mere fact that they did not release any information on when the scores would be available by themselves; many of us have called regarding the problem, with NO definitive answers. With deadlines fast approaching, past, or here, what do you expect us to do Fergusen? The date says that scores that have been completed CORRECTLY would be posted on the 14th-16th... LATE SCORES THAT HAVE UNCOMPLETED information would be delayed form 3-7 weeks.... With 80% of the people not having their scores, can you expect us to not worry? I know you do not mean wrong Mrs. Fergusen; I appreciate your opinions on standing by the ACT's postings, but I sincerely believe they should have amended the problems faster....It really does not seem like they put much effort into it.

well said xeno

everybody pray for scores tomorrow!

If I send my scores tonight or tomorrow, by priority, will they reach schools by or on November 30th?

I think so
It takes a day
or so it 'says'
OMG SCORES TOMORROW.

Scores Yes!! I Will Hug You All!!!

lolol
e-hug!

^LOL. fshooo

are you just saying that because it says "Important Notice:
Due to scheduled maintenance, web services will not be available beginning at 11:00 p.m. (central time) Tuesday, November 27. Please try back after 3:00 a.m. (central time) Wednesday, November 28. We apologize for any inconvenience." on the web site?

^the ACT claims (once again, WHO KNOWS? -_- lololol) they update every wednesday and friday by 8 am central time.

bah, I don't trust them anymore. They have lied too many times to me.

Sending scores by tomorrow will be at the college by Nov. 30th right?

They "claim" that they send them out the next business day. Colleges, on average, take 6 business days to process received scores though.

I suggest you priority them Slugger :) JUST IN CASE!!

Just sent out my old ones on priority, just in case. Hopefully get these new ones back tomorrow and get higher. I am excited.

the site is back up

and NOOOO scores!

^wow *** you're right....

WHAT IS THIS.
