Anyone who has heard back...

@mandypandy why thank you! :)

@pamom59 I think it has to do with the 4yr v. 5 yr plans. It seems that people are encouraged to do five year with 3 yr co-op, because it costs $7,400 more to do it in four years than in five. Browsing through this thread, it also seems that those who apply for five years get better scholarships. Also those who apply for engineering/business/science/math/whatever seem to get more money too. Drexel isn’t famous for its humanities program as far as I know, so that makes sense.

Plus, blueshirtsrule has a much better GPA than me. A college might be a little more wary of a student whose GPA and SAT scores don’t totally match up.

My son got in last night to the honors college. He applied by Oct. 1. Seems to be no order to their process. He rec’d 21K and is very excited.

2080
GPA 4.19 weighted
14/319
OOS
Mechanical Engineering

Good luck to all those who are still waiting and congrats. to those who got in.

my app was complete on November 3rd, any idea on when i will recieve a decision? Its already been close to a month. I called multiple times to make sure my credentials were in, they said yesterday i was “in review”

Might’ve made a key blunder that will make a good candidate a not so good one. Oh welllllll, I shall wait.

No email here, I just kept checking back. Got accepted in about 10 days, 22k for Chemical Engineering.

how did u get an id for the portal? I didn’t get a portal id

They email you an I’d and password.

how do you send an update about your app to Drexel? I used the VIP application.

I need help with the VIP application!!!
Ehhhh so do we need to send in recommendation letters and transcripts at the same time with the VIP application form??? Because the form is due tonight at mid-night and I don’t have my recommendation letters ready/// Do they still consider me if I send recommendation letter in later???
I seriously need help ASAP, please help!

My son was just accepted today with an email.

3.9GPA UW
31 ACT (33 superscored)

Average extracurriculars with heavy emphasis on Orchestra

Got $21,000 scholarship with Honors college
Computer science major

I received the dean’s scholarship for $16,500.
it seems like the range is from 10-20k for the dean’s scholarship.

My SATs were horrible though.
Math: 630
Reading: 510
Writing: 560

Total: 1700

I applied for the undecided engineering and still got in. It must be because of my overwhelming amount of extracuriccular activites though.
