Anyone who have taken Physics and Chemistry please help ~

I am now preparing for the SAT Physics and Chemistry test.
The books that i choose are from Princeton Review.
Is it enough to just read Princeton Review? Will it cover all the topics tested in the real test?
Do I also need to read Barron in order to get a 800 in each test?

Thank you

BTW, my test date is on May 1st.
Now I have finished reading the Princeton Review for Physics and Chemistry.
What do i need to do next?

I’m doing PR for Physics.

I’ve heard it’s the best, though I haven’t cracked it open yet.

My test is in June.

To add some sort of reassurance, I looked up a billion threads and they all said PR for physics is absolutely the best.

Are you in regular physics or AP?

Barron’s, quite frankly, sucks. It has AP Chem topics, which are not supposed to be introduced in the real exam. Seems like Barron’s motto is “we will prep you harshly so u can do well on the real exam…” But it doesnt work in SAT II Chem :P

well, thanks for the help~

Really appreciate that.

As a matter of fact, i haven’t finished physics and chemistry in my high school…
i m from Canada. The system is quite different, you know…

Is it enough to review what you have learned in Chemistry, Physics and Math in one month?

@lzhd1028

The physics of Princeton Review is very good. All chapters be analysed very well.

About Barron’s books, I agree with benhpark. I’m not satisfied. They have inantiquated theory and their excersises are confusing and ambiguous.

About your second question. I believe it’s enough to review all chapters in maths, Physics and Chemistry.

Good luck to you! :)

Can I ask something. What are the best books for Chemistry??Thank you. :)

@lzhd1028 what type of review??I mean if you don’t crack the whole required syllabus the 1 month will not be enough.

But if you want to do a quickly review to remind some things I think that is enough time.

Very good books for Physics are Barron’s Books and Princeton Review. For further reading I suggest to go in library and find some extras particularly in some points of syllabus that you cannot understand or you have some weaknesses. It would be very helpful!!

I hope you the best and good luck!!:D

ps: i have the same question with Maria_astr

*enough time
