I am preparing for TOEFL test currently and I wanna expose myself to different lecture video so that I can train my listening comprehension in a more comprehensive framework within various academic topics.I am using UC berkeley's webcast as a means to practise now but I don't have any syllabus on hand even though I can understand the majority of the lectures without the syllabus. However for some terminologies within specific lectures,it's still better to have lecture notes or whatsoever. So anybody from UC berkeley or Who can recommend some websites with resources like that? Please do me this favor and tell me about it,thanks very much!Besides,I am applying for grad schools in US this fall so it would be great to get in touch with you guys who have the same goals with me,thanks!Feel free to contact me and I am willing to make friends here!

OPENCOURSEWARE...

http://ocw.mit.edu/index.html

There are video lectures (for some classes), class syllabus, problem sets, the whole nine yards.

^ This is a big one here.

Other things...

I am assuming that with the open course ware, you could listen over a subject which you have taken before. That way you do not have to worry a whole lot about learning something totally new to you and just concentrate on your English.

For example, if you took Art History or already know of Art History, you could just kick back and relax with the open course ware and not have to worry about something really new to you like Theoretical Calculus or something.

And, do not rule out going over to the International Students thread and seeing if maybe someone already took this test and stuff.

At any rate, flyakite8606, I wish you all the best.

the berkeley one is
