<p>Hey everyone! It's been a while since I posted on CC, and I'm sorry for going AWOL on you guys. I was rejected from Harvard this past April, and I've been trying to get over the rejection. To keep my spirits up, I have already started planning my transfer application to Harvard, among other schools, as well.</p>
<p>The new Common App, to be released this August, has changed the official word count of the major essay from 250-500 to 250-650, and my transfer essay comes in at 650 words exact. Note, this is the Common App essay, so it isn't fine tuned to any particular school, but I think it's good as a general "Why do you want to transfer?" essay.</p>
<p>My main goal for this essay is for the reader to say "I really want to have this kid at my school" when they finish reading it. Honest feedback would be much appreciated! Just let me know if you can read it and I'll PM you.</p>
