<p>I understand what your trying to say about these institutes. The reason I’m picking Institutes over actual universities is because my GPA isn’t first class… I just want to get my B.Arch from a good.well-known institute and then get my Ph.d from MIT… Thats my ultimate goal. I also don’t understand what you mean my “co-ops”? I’ve honestly tried to call Pratt Institute’s Admin office so many times over the past few days and NO ONE is there to help me! Its crazy! I’ve left about 5 messages on 5 different answering machines. Thats why I’m coming to you guys to help me out in the admissions process. I just need some straight forward opinions on Pratt and BAC… </p>

Cooperative Education (Co-op) is a distinctive form of experiential education in which students alternate periods of academic study with periods of paid work experience.

The Two+Four Option is an accelerated route leading to a Bachelor of Architecture degree including four years of professional work experience. In this program, the first two years of full-time course work address the basic principles of architectural design and satisfy university core requirements in the arts and sciences. During these years, a student completes 101 of the 221 credits required for graduation.</p>

<p>Upon successful completion of the college’s minimum requirements for the first two years, students begin full-time employment with part-time evening classes for the remaining four years.

<p>So, as you are learning from the company you are working for, you also get paid.</p>

<p>I dont see a point, but I visited Northeastern when I was in HS (before ultimately ending up at BU), and asked them where most people do their co-ops and was told that most do theirs at the school. I followed up and checked, and it was true. I know Drexel very, very well, and it is the same there.</p>
