Just wondering really, cause from what I've seen, everyone that has been accepted so far has an SAT score in the 2000s, with a few exceptions of those with high 1900s. My cousin was accepted into USC last year and she had a 1960 on her SATs...so yeah.

I got an 1810 on my SATs (550 CR, 640 M, 620 W) and I'm really doubtful that I'll get in with that SAT score, despite a 4.38 uw GPA (3.8-3.9 uw...not sure...I've only had 3 Bs in my entire HS transcript and it was my first semester of senior in 3 AP classes), lots of EC and all that other mumble jumble.

Anyone know anyone that attends USC or has already been accepted to USC this year with around my score or less?

True, they are not sub-1800, but both are substantially lower than the median of other accepted students. I would not worry too much about the SATs, because USC seems to be one of the few schools that underweights them.

there are a ton of people with high SAT's (>2100) and high GPA's that haven't heard yet....I think it's a little early to look at stats as a determinant of admittance......Now, if it was March 20th, that's a different story......

3.6 unweighted....Not sure if those of you on here would agree though; around here, that puts you safely in top 10%...(with AP's and honors assumed)...
Many of those who have not heard are also applying to specific schools at USC that tend to be more competitive in admissions (Marshall, Annenberg, CInema Arts)....I'm assuming that the process is harder, takes longer and has less chance of admittance.....I still don't know if you are offered arts and science admittance if you are rejected from the specific school though....

People are not posting their admitted stats with the school admitted to....it would surely help.....

my s has 2150 SAT , #1 in his class of 76, 4.0 GPA unweighted, great satIIs, but still has the status "we recieved your fall grades"..... He did apply to film school-production. Maybe that's why he hasn't been accepted. At least we don't have very many more days to wait.

i have an 1820/ ACT 27.... im hoping this wont ruin my chances at USC

i go to a top 30 public school, im top in my class.... our valedictorian has a 4.1... i have a 3.5 unweighted, president of 2 clubs, sports every season all through high school, volunteer 5 days a week, on volunteer ambulance core ect.... so basically i hope that USC can see past my bad test taking skills

im also part native american/hispanic/part white and my sister goes to USC. im applying engineering

lilchica:
I personally believe you have a good chance. What drew me to USC was that it seemed to care more about the "complete package" than just test scores. I think your scores are fine.
I got a 29 on the ACT and a 1910 on the SAT. I'm going to retake the SAT just to see if I can bump it up. I'm also hispanic :)

hey, at least your GPA can adequately trump your SAT scores.

i have above a 2000 SAT (don't want to specify) but a GPA that hovers around 3.0 - 3.5 range. granted, i have a reason, but my GPA might be driving factor in my rejection.

EDIT: haha, the user above me gave me some hope. congrats :)
