Double Legacy at Georgetown

i'm forgetting stuff but you get the picture.

Any thoughts would be nice. I'm not likely to advance much in class rank.

The double legacy at G'town should help. Do your Rutgers app first so that the important one to G'twn is not the first one you do.

JHU is a big reach due to your GPA/rank.

I think you will have a decent shot at HC and Bucknell, but I think you should have at least one more match in the mix. How about Macalester?

The only reason JHU is still on the list is because I've done a number of their summer and distance programs, and the alumni interviewer I would request would make me look like gold.
Can anyone offer any odds on my acceptance to Georgetown? If I don't get in, I've considered doing a semester at Rutgers and transferring.

Any thoughts are more than welcome.

I don't think you can consider G'town a match - maybe a reasonable reach, though. If you are not requesting finaid it may help. Here is the 2004 class profile - they are pretty fond of val's.

<a href="http://www.georgetown.edu/undergrad/admissions/Information1YRProfile1.htm%5B/url%5D">http://www.georgetown.edu/undergrad/admissions/Information1YRProfile1.htm</a></p>

BTW, if you can figure how they are doing their math with val's and sal's, let me know.

I think they're saying that 59% of Vals and 46% of Sals were accepted, not that 59% of their class is vals...gracious me if that were true.
