Anyone's TAG get approved yet? Oct 15 is earliest date right??

Hey,

So I was told told (Oct 15) is the earliest you will receive a TAG approval. Did anyone get there's today? If so, when did you apply? Did you receive your "met TAG criteria" email yet?

Mines pending and I sent my Tag early-mid september

mine is still:

Submitted - Under Review

Haven’t received mine yet.

I submitted mine on Sept. 10th and I haven’t received anything.

I submitted mine to UCSB on September 2nd and its still under review
sucks lol

The reason I’m so anxious to get my response is cuz it turns out one of my classes was not UC transferable and that left me with only 27 UC credits. I do have AP credits though, which I believe also count so I should have the 30 after all. Also, I read UCSB TAG agreement and it doesn’t state anywhere on there that you need 30 UC transferable units to TAG into UCSB.
What do you guys think? I think I should be good but I can’t help but be kinda nervous…

my counselor informed me that UCSB now calculates your fall into ur gpa as well ( like UCSD). thats probably why u dont need 30 credits; because by that fall u should have more if youre doing TAG anyway

also you wont hear from ucsd or ucsb until regular admissions letters go through.

soooo no one heard back from their tags yet?

Nope, haven’t heard back yet. Still under review.

i think by november 15

mine is still under review.

under review also. November needs to come sooner.

Mine’s still under review too. I just want to know that I’m OK for Davis! I’m wondering if each campus will release them when they’re all done or if we’ll get them back one-by-one.

Well i guess i should say that I got an email last night from UC riverside stating…
"We are in the process of reviewing your application. Before we can complete our review and reach a TAG decision, we need the following information from you:

You are planning more classes for Winter 2011 intersesion than you will be allowed to enroll in. A TAG application to UC Riverside will be approved with the understanding that you will need to complete a minimum of 60 UC transferable semester units AND pass English 101, Phil 5, and Math 227 to meet admission requirements by the end of spring 2011 term."

I knew I was planning too many units but I attend more than one college, but anyway from what I understand my tag has been circumstantially approved as long as complete 60 units and those 3 classes.
Anyone else received any news?

I like how in the emails they sent us after we submitted our TAGS they said Early Oct…sigh

Wait, you got an email? I didn’t get any!

Oh wait I did get one from davis and santa barbara. sorry

What did they say? same thing different classes?

Good to see that I’m not alone wallowing in anxiety about the pending TAG.
I believe the reason why TAG decisions are taking so long to process is because so many people are getting them this year. My cc advisor had said that they are pretty much overwhelmed with the amount that came in. UCSC advisers had said that they received a record 5000 TAG applications this Fall.

November youre taking too long…
