I sent in my application already? Anyone with some ideas? I really want to go to DUKE.

uhh live, but that doesnt increase ur chances...

relax, i feel the same way, just wait it out for 3 months

Ace the interview if you are able to get one. That's the only thing left that could help. Otherwise, wait patiently. Good luck!

interview is "not considered" for Duke, sorry but its the truth.

^wait what. there are interviews.......

Do they contact me about interviews?

I was emailed by a paralegal that worked as the assisstant of my interviewer. I'm guessing that Duke contacts a local alumni and asks if they want to interview. But to answer your question, they initiated contact with me via email. I don't think you can request one.

ya it seems that interviews are not important. my interview just called me today and he was just like it will be a casual interview basically just for information

Although interview is not strongly considered, it is still one of the factors. It's the only thing left since you've already submitted your application. The interview allows Duke to get to know you as a person, not just some numbers and words. Personally, I felt that my interview has benefited my application. My interviewer was very impressed with my portfolio and initiatives.

^by them saying "not considered" instead of "considered" kind of means its not a factor, they could have just told us it is considered if it was a small factor. i doubt acing the interview is much different from not having an interview at all

unless u are so charming that u give the interviewer an orgasm, i dont think it will have a big impact.....i would say 5% impact on your application
