Anything on waitlists, yet?

I know that all the colleges are now pretty much full, but has anyone received anything yet?

last i heard - from the email update a little while back- was that only the school of hotel administration was using the waitlist. they said they would give us another update later. when i called about the waitlist for ILR, the lady said "it doesn't look good."

They will call the applicants that they want to offer admission to if they go to the wait list.

Didn't the previous email say that they would send an update during the week of May 26? We should be getting something soon, although I'm afraid it'll be nothing but bad news.

For those of us waitlisted for AEM, it is pretty much over already from what I hear.

Dang it.
Cornell should just make a business school itself rather than have it mostly piled through AEM and scattered throughout the different colleges.... =/

So is it pretty much:

No call = reject

?

from wht i heard, this year cornell accepted as many people as they could RD, bc they wanted to avoid using waitlist. so, i would expect that there wouldn't be much waitlist activity this yr, unfortunately.

No call doesn't = rejection. Applicants will get called if they are able to offer admission to them. If they are not able to, applicants will recieve a letter. Until you have a letter, it's not totally over. Although with Cornell's AEM program rising to #4 this year, I wouldn't expect much in the way of spaces being available for that program. Just my thought.
