if you know please tell me

You should receive a notification letter from Duke. It will give you your access code and your personal data as well. Then, you go on online and create your own account. Then, enter your access code from the letter. Once you've registered, you can monitor your application status.

ok that was complicated. Just go to Duke's website, click on LOGIN to "The D" (its at the bottom of the admissions page), enter your email address and password (need to make one) and see of you have all green checkmarks!

anyone know how long they had to wait until they got an access code from duke? i got an email saying they received my pre app/common app, and it says that I paid and that they downloaded everything

I sent in my app way back in Sept. and it took me almost a month before I got the paperwork. But, when I checked it online everything was there, so I was glad.

my recs and transcript werent marked as received by admissions. should i be worried or do they take a while to sort the mail? my transcript was sent out late november, and i don't know about my recs.

They should inform you if anything is missing, and sometimes colleges can be a little lasy on updatng those things. Cornell said they didn't get my Transcript, but they did get my Guidance Counselor Rec. And the two things were sent in the same bloody envelope. But, I've got time if they actually did lose it, then again that's a different school, but the anecdote is noteworthy.

i submitted everything but there is not a single green check mark on the application checklist. I applied online as well- so they should have definitely received the common app/fee, etc. I'm guessing it's just a problem with updating; i've called and they said they'd contact me in february- so this further reenforces this claim---- not that any of this matters anyway- i'm getting rejected fo'sho whether they hav my app or not.

I think what you have to do is click "mark submitted" on the far right hand side, and then it's like the computer goes and checks on it....I thought for a long time that my counselor form wasn't being processed but it turns out I had to click that first.

Yeah, I've clicked "marked submitted" a long time ago and they still haven't received it yet...

same here.....it hasn't turned green for my personal statement (essays), and I sent that about 10 days before the deadline.....

I sent in form 1 in August, and I still have not been contacted for an interview (although they received form 1), but my friend sent her form 1 in literally at the last minute (Dec. 1?) and she's been contacted for an interview

should I be worried (cause i am!)???
