Hey to all you bored people out there!!!If you had a chance to live anytime but the present time, when would you like to have been born??Pride and Prejudice fans anywhere??

YESUH! I love Pride and Prejudice, movie and book (although the movie ending was just BLEARGH... I can forgive that considering everything else, though). Mr. Darcy = HOT.

I would have liked to been born... in Egypt, when Moses was around, and NOT as a first born.

hehe that's an interesting choice!!! Good catch on the first born issue!!But why then??What attracts you to that time??

Egypt fascinates me (definately on my list of places to visit before I die), plus it would be amazing to be around when something that would be remembered for centuries afterwards happened. Although that could be happen any moment, there's no way of every knowing, yeah?

What about you?

Right you are...yes Egypt is quite fascinating, the Pyramids and the mummies and all..hehe.. i agree.

I actually wish i were living in the time when Pride and Prejudice was written.Life was so much simpler then!

Or maybe not...? Everyone then was waaay too socially conscious. That kind of irks me, because until I picked up a Jane Austen, I never thought that all that sort of stuff was a big deal.

But in terms of everything else but society, I agree. ^^

Yeah sure...social pressure was horrific back then..still it would have been quite amusing to see all the guys in tights and all the girls in puffy overgrown dresses!!LOL!

Speaking of dreaming....what's your dream job??what is the thing that you see yourself doing forever, or the job you don't have the guts to do??

I would love to be a fly-on-the-wall around Jerusalem, 33 A.D., for obvious reasons. Not that I don't get to see and touch Jesus in the Holy Eucharist every day if I want to -- I'm a Catholic, thanks be to God -- but how amazing it would be to see and speak with Him back then, in the beginning. Just seeing what He really looked like would satisfy me.

Barring that, I would probably choose to go back to ancient Greece and hang out with Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle.

Ah we've got a philosopher on board then???Not a bad choice!

I'd be an astronaut if I could. I'd love to see the earth as a marble in space... sweet stuff.

i like that idea! The earth's troubles would seem so far away and meaningless at that distance!

So, what's on everybody's minds???Any topic suggestions??

I love pride and prejudice!
I actually think I could like living then....

Anywhere with a good juicy portorhouse

Really?!?! I would give anything to go back to those times. Things were a lot simpler then!

Yeah. That indoor plumbing thing and living to 80 is a real drag

hehehe! Okay Steak lover!! What's your suggestion then??Where would you have liked to live??Or are you content with the present??

Well, if i go a little bit back, we have the cold war, so right now works for me
