<p>I think you should stick w/ ur state universities. Try UCAL Davis, Santa Cruz, Riverside and Merced. If your willing to shoot for it, try San Diego.</p>
<p>BMS – are those GPA numbers from community colleges? Logic would indicate that a lateral tranfer (e.g. from Vanderbilt to Notre Dame, or from USC to NYU) would look favorably upon a 3.4, 3.5, etc., but not look upon that gpa from a community college in the same light…</p>
<p>Oh, another thing… I agree with the poster who wrote that if you’re looking for a change, then transfer out of NoCal and into Central or Socal … that still leaves UCSB, UCI, UCSD, UCR, and a real longshot in UCLA as tranfer options.</p>
