AP Advice!

Hey guys, I'm sort of stuck between a couple options right now and was just hoping for some opinions on what I should do.

So I really want to take 5 AP exams come spring to qualify for National AP Scholar - this year, I'm already in 3 AP classes in school. I'm also signed up to take AP Psych through an online program my school uses. For the second course, I'm not sure whether to take AP Microeconomics online, too, or to just self study AP Environmental Science?

I'm currently in AP Bio, so I thought that might make self studying APES easier and studying for it would be more flexible, since my extracurricular schedule is really packed this year.
At the same time, I'm worried with so many other commitments that it'd be nice to have deadlines and more structure, so an online class will force me to study ahead and prepare.

Which one do you guys recommend? Any experience at AP online classes or self-studying these classes? Thanks!

Bump…anyone?

AP Computer Science!

When it comes to AP exams, if you have at least an hour a day available to study, then I recommend you should self study for the subject of interest, because if you do, you will retain the information for future application (the point of learning the subject) and you will have a very good chance of scoring a 5 because you will have most, if not all, of the information needed to answer all the questions, rather than the usual strategies you are taught in Ap classes (depending on the teacher). It will really help if you also have a teacher who is willing to help you out if you have any questions during break periods (such as lunch). Good luck. As the saying goes “If you can dream it, you can achieve it!”

^^^^ I concur :). Also, it’s been said in CC that Human Geo is easy so try that! For me, I was going to self study for that but when I opened the PR book for it I knew this was not the subject for me! Basically you must memorize EVERY Countries Geography weather it’s human, climate, elevation, and etc. Perhaps you may like it. Just a suggestion

Okay! Thanks for all the suggestions!

Still wondering though, has anyone taken AP Econ? Would it be difficult to do online?
