I'm in AP History and the workload of that combined with my other classes and extra curricular activities is really difficult for me. I am afraid that I could possibly get a C in that class which would destroy my GPA. I'm also in the Intro to College Spanish honors and Intro Calculus honors, AP Chem, honors physics and honors English. I have made up my mind that I want to go to college for a science related subject so would dropping out of AP U.S. History and going to a college prep level hurt my chances at getting into a top liberal arts school? I swim two hours a day and just don't know if I can do it all. I am a Junior and am looking to swim in college as well.

Wow, I wish our school offered that many AP courses. We only have AP Psychology and AP Spanish. I would take AP American History, it looks–to me at least–much better than College Prep. American History.

Good luck.

PS - If you are in that many AP classes, ask yourself how much harder AP Am. History would be. I don’t think very hard. Go for it.
