AP and Schedule

Hey so I have a problem because I need to figure out what to take because my schedule is AP language, AP Euro, AP Chem, APUSH, pre calf honors, and AP Physics B. For my last class, should I take AP Stats or AP Psychology? This would be my junior year and I want to apply to ivy league schools, something to do with science. Thanks!

If you want science, I suggest Psychology. Statistics is more math-oriented, if I remember correctly.

Math is related to science, so that should not be a reason for not taking it. I think Stats is viewed more favorably since Psych is generally seen as easy. However, you should check with specific colleges over whether they offer credits.

Both AP Statistics and AP Psychology are generally considered to be among the easier APs. You may want to see what each university accepts for credit and placement.

I’d suggest Stats. In general, as I’ve heard from people at my school at least, AP Stats complements Precalc nicely. (And considering you’re already taking an AP social science course, Psych might not be the best idea.) Hope it works out!

stats definitely. psych is ridiculously easy to self study. plus, stats is a great class. i took it last year and i learned so much. stats can be very useful in many different fields, careers, etc. and if you take stats as a class, its very easy to get a 5 on the exam
