AP Art an acceptable AP class?

<p>I have a choice between AP art or just a regular honors class. Is AP art seen as a rigorous class for top colleges? I plan on becoming an engineer but want to diversify my schedule to show I am well rounded. I talked to the teacher and she said I could take the course over two year (junior+senior), which would relieve some stress. So what do you guys think?</p>

<p>i think ap art is one of the tougher ap classes
just because you have to commit a lot of time to it and create 20+ original pieces
a lot of people on cc think it’s easy but they don’t understand how much work it is</p>
