Next year, I'm thinking of taking the AP Art History exam by self-studying. The extents of my art classes have been taking an IT Art Graphics class during middle school. I studied various types of European art last year for European History but beyond that, I don't really have much information on the topic. Will an annotated Mona Lisa help me get a 5?

The Annotated Mona Lisa is a must have for that class! We used some insanely large textbook by Stokstad. Let me tell you, that thing was nothing if not intimidating! If nothing els, Mona Lisa will prove pretty helpful when it comes to review, I would also recommend the Art History prep by REA, it comes with a cd rom which has images on it referred to in the prep book. One of the important things to remember is that you will need to have a variety of specific pieces you will need to draw on when the essay part of the test comes.

Its a great class! I enjoyed it immensely, though not as much as Euro :)
Good luck!!
