My daughter has the scores to be an AP Scholar with Distinction. But nowhere does it tell you if you need to apply, or if they just send the award to you directly, or your school. Does anyone have any experience with this.

Try using the search button next time.

They'll send it soon.

No need to apply. College Board will mail your daughter (directly, not through the school) a certificate later in the fall (sorry, can't remember specific month).

It's september I believe.

Do they tell the schools who got it? Or does it only go to the students directly? And does anyone remember the exact month?

I think the schools get it as well. Either my school got the information or they simply inferred it from my scores when they congratulated me for it.
