<p>I checked My D's AP award letter from last year. It showed 9/12/2007 on the letter. I couldn't remember when she received the letter.</p>

<p>I asked my brother, he said he thinks they come sometime in october. So if I waited till october 1st to write down the award recieved i could use that month and date.</p>

<p>You can call the AP number listed on the college board site. They will confirm for you whether you've actually earned an award, and once they've done that, you can list it on any applications, etc., legitimately.</p>

<p>As of last Thursday, the letters had not yet been sent out.</p>

<p>No, it's entirely free. You're not asking for your scores; you're asking them to confirm the level of award you believe you've earned. They'll tell you, no problem.</p>

<p>If you receive an AP Scholar Award in the fall of 2007 after one 3 in 2006 and a 3 and a 4 in 2007 will you receive another AP scholar award for 2008 if you took one test in May 2008 and received a 3?</p>

<p>I was wondering if I was supposed to have received the certificate for AP Scholar awards yet; last year the letter was marked September 8th. (I know it's not that important and it's the number of AP courses taken that counts, but it's a good point to emphasize I think on the Honors/awards section, and would be sketchy if I didn't write it in despite having earned it...)</p>

<p>I know a lot of people waiting for the mail who haven't seen it as of Saturday 4 October 2008. Last year the mail came in September for AP scholar awards, but this year seems to be behind last year's schedule.</p>
