AP Bio and AP Chem at the same time?

I’ll be a senior next year and plan to go pre-med in college. I’d like to take AP Bio and AP chem to help prepare me for those pre-med classes (not to claim the credits, just for a foundation). However, I know this is a heavy course load.
My schedule for next year would be:

AP Lit
AP Gov/eco
AP Bio
AP Chem
Study Hall
Honors Pre-Cal
Business information management (blow off class)

I took honors biology in ninth grade and finished with a high A and honors chem as a sophomore with a low A,although this was a self-studied course and I didn’t apply myself as much as I could have. I have high A’s in my history/english courses so I’m not too worried about them next year. However, I do struggle with math. I’ve had a borderline A in honors algebra 2 and I study for the class way too much. I’m in the top 3% of my class, scored a 2160 on the SAT, and I work pretty hard.

Anyways, do you think that it would be reasonable for me to take these two sciences together next year? And if I shouldn’t, which class do you think would be more beneficial?

I would definitely advise not taking both at the same time. I would drop AP Chem and take AP Bio only because you said you self-studied Chem and that’s going to make it very difficult for you to understand some concepts if you didn’t learn in a classroom environment.

@txrunner9728 Are you planning to do business and pre-med too?

I was thinking about it but decided to just stick with business finance. It seems like it’s pretty normal to do business and pre-Med at UT though!

@txrunner9728 Why did you discard the idea of doing both? Just curious.
