AP Bio,AP Chem, or both

Not really sure what class I should take for senior year. I know that I want to be on the pre- med track. I know that AP Chem is a lot of math and AP Bio is more memorizing, however I’m not really sure which one would prepare me the most for medical school or the mcat. What is your advice? Also, if I take both I won’t be able to take AP Stats or AP Spanish.

Pick one or the other, but not both - 2 AP lab sciences concurrently are a killer. It does not matter which one you pick. Don’t worry about MCAT’s yet, but know that regardless of which one you pick, it is likely that neither will meet any med school requirements for admissions, so you will either retake the class in college, or take a higher level class to fulfill requirements.

As for which one to take, take the one that has the better teacher/has better AP score results/will result in a better grade.

For medical school - both. Isn’t it required? Where I live it certainly is.

For med school, both gen chem and gen bio are indeed required. However, most do not accept AP credits in these subjects as fulfilling requirements. So the focus for the OP now should be on getting into college, not med school.
