<p>Im taking AP bio this year and wondered if the AP book would also prepare me for the subject test. I'm in a hurry since I have to take it before january.</p>

And can you suggest some good SAT II bio books if the AP book doesn't help?</p>

<p>the only thing that could be bad about using the AP book, is that the AP course requirements changed (less in depth, and way more general) which means the new AP books may also have changed, which would mean they may not have all the information (specifically plant biology) that is tested on the SAT II. If you’re going to use an AP book to study the SAT info., you might want to buy one that is a couple years old, or just get an SAT bio book (Kaplan or Barrons is probably best).</p>
