AP Bio Exam - level of difficulty?

I'm a miserable AP Biology student this year... debating whether or not I should even attempt to take the test. I took the class because my counselor convinced me that I needed to take an AP Science in order to apply to some of my reach schools.

By listening to this advice, I've gotten the worst grade of my high school career first semester and only doing a little bit better this quarter.

I would need a 3 for the college I will most likely be attending (unless I get into my reach school, which requires a 5... which is clearly an impossibility for me)

I ask because I need to register in the next few days,
and my 86 dollars will not be refunded if I decide not to take the test. :/
I'm also taking 3 other AP tests... it's likely my brain will be fried come the Bio exam.

For those of you who have taken it - how difficult is it and is it even worth the struggle?

Depends on your major. If you are going to be a science major in college, which it doesn’t seem like the case here, taking it wouldn’t benefit you much unless you’re in a special program. Getting a 5 would be rather difficult if you are struggling, but a 3 should be manageable with minimal prep. If your future school likely won’t take below a 5 I would save the $86.

what other ap classes you’re taking? Besides, I heard APCliff is good for studying for AP Biology.

I’m also taking AP Calculus AB, AP Spanish, and AP English Lit.

I think I can manage a 3… unfortunately, I haven’t heard from my reach school which only accepts a 4 or 5. My other top choice will take a 3 for a few credit hours.

oh you have time to study AP Bio and get at least a 4 if you study diligently.
