AP Bio makes me cry )':

Is the composite score still graded on a 150 point score? Cliffs has it out of 100. MC x 0.6 and FRQ x 1.0.

Is there an MC score that is practically guaranteed to get a 5?

100%

10 char

is that off the top of your head or is that real? Because I remember last year in APUSH, we went over the percentage of people getting 5s based off each MC score. A few were like 99%.

I was just joking with you, man. I have no idea.

Can somebody please send me some past ap bio tests? I don’t have any of them and I really need some practice!

My email is: busyerict@hotmail.com

I just got a 100 raw score on the '99 exam. (110 answered, 102 right, 8 wrong.) How have you guys done on it?

The exam is only 100 questions now. I usually get about an 80.

After putting off reviewing until the last minute, I finally gave in and crammed hardcore for the last few days. I took a MC mock today and my raw score jumped 30 points hahaha.

Excited to get the exam out of the way  Good luck everyone!

Ah, where can we get practice tests? How accurate is Cliffs (the practice tests)?

i found everything online… downloads and stuff lol

reviewing the last few chapters like everything about plants, lol. cell structures and functions, animal behavior, and human systems. besides that just chillaxin by the pool

I have attempted the following exams:

2002- 119 answered, 114 correct, 5 wrong (seven days ago, used as a test in my ap bio class, also got 39/40 on the free response)
1999- 118 answered, 106 correct, 12 wrong (four weeks ago, used as a diagnostic test in my ap bio class, no frq)
1994- 120 answered, 112 correct, 8 wrong (two days ago, taken at home, no frq)

@DataBox, could you send me the 1999 and 1994 tests?

Actually, I found the 1999, but not 1994.

my raw score for the 1999 exam is 92 out of 120. would that be an approximate 4? i hope to get at least a 4 on this exam. ugh. but i know i’ll bomb the essays for sure =/

Just look at the sample Collegeboard essays (they have all of them from 1999 to 2008 along with the scoring guidelines) and figure out the patterns of what they want you to give in the answers. You might get a topic that you know well, but don’t know exactly what to right. By looking at that list, you can figure out that there are always 3-4 things you want to put when they ask for evolutionary adaptations (very common) or something along those lines.

(All the tabs for 1999-2008 are at the top)

guys do any of you have the 2001/2002 exams? i’m willing to trade them for the 1999 one.

Just a little pep talk for everyone. I took Bio Honors and AP BIO. I wasn’t amazing at Bio I just did a lot of the auditt test. Just looked up the answers etc. I didn’t do any other studying other than that.
Sadly last year I skipped the AP BIO breakfast at my school and we discussed one of the FRQ. So when I got the test I had no idea what the question was talking about and completely bsed it. Turns out everything I wrote was completely wrong. On the rest of the test I thought I did ok. Not outstandingly well or anything. I ended up getting 5.

If it’s in reach for me, it’s in reach for you guys too! Don’t worry about. Just do the auditt exams and you’ll all do great!

hear hear! ;)

I seriously feel underprepared for this exam. My school has block scheduling so I have been out of my AP bio class for 4 months, plus we only got as far as the digestive and circulatory systems. At least my classes were dual credit so I should be getting college credit regardless of my score. Good luck to everyone!
