AP Bio or AP Chem

I'm still torn between which class to take junior year. I'm going to be taking both by the time I graduate and I was just wondering which to take first. I know for a fact that I will be getting higher grades in AP Bio but I heard that colleges like to see AP Chem taken during junior year since it is a more challenging course..is this assumption true? Does this look better than a higher GPA? I want to pursue a career in pharmacy. Any help is appreciated...Thanks!

I would say take AP Bio junior year and then Chem senior year. You have other challenges junior year (difficult course load, sat/act, etc.) and it is really important to get a high gpa. Besides I don’t think colleges really care that much in what order you take them as long as you take both. I’m doing AP bio my junior year too cause AP Chem would kill my gpa lol.*

At my school and other high schools in the same area, it’s AP Bio sophomore year and then AP Chem junior year.

Ask older students who have taken one or the other. Whichever one they say is easier, choose that one.

It’s your junior year. Don’t screw it up with an impossible class.

EDIT: Reread your post. AP BIO AP BIO AP BIO. Take that and don’t look back.

I would take AP Bio first and then AP Chem senior year. Neither of the classes really helps you in the other, so it honestly does not matter at all.

What Tenors said. Except don’t take AP Bio if people say it’s a **** TON of work. At my school, AP Chem was difficult but manageable. AP Bio was just a torrent of never ending work, which worked horribly with junior year stuff.
