I'm a junior and I have to decide my senior year schedule in a couple months. For the last slot in my schedule, I have a choice between taking AP Biology or AP Spanish Language. I going to take AP Physics C, but I'm not sure whether I should take a second science or a fourth year of foreign language. Will taking two science classes senior year and only three years of foreign language throughout high school hurt me when I apply to competitive schools (Stanford, Princeton, Brown, etc.)?
I've looked at the websites of these universities and most of them recommend only three years of language, but I'm afraid not taking an AP foreign language might hurt me. At the same time I love science and plan on majoring in biomedical sciences or something similar.
Thoughts/comments? thanks.

Please list all your classes. If you are good at spanish and can manage an A for your fourth year of spanish, then that looks really good and seems consistent. However, it’s really a nice bonus to have taken AP bio, chem, and physics by the end of your high school career, especially if you plan to major in a science related field. AP Science classes are generally > AP foreign language when it comes to college credit. AP foreign language should be taken as a supplement to your main course load (except if you plan to major in foreign language/communications).

With that said, please post your schedule as there might be other alternatives that will allow you to take both classes.

my schedule next year will be:
Multivariable Calculus
AP Physics C
AP Euro
English 4 (regular)

AP Biology/AP Spanish

i’m taking AP Physics B this year and i took AP Chemistry last year

any new thoughts based on rest of my schedule?
considering theeboy’s comment, i think i will go with AP Bio
